One day trip to Shedd Aquarium from Michigan
One day trip to Chicago. This time we selected the Shedd Aquarium.
Book tickets in advance — we booked ours one day before the trip, but they were sold out just a couple of hours later. This is likely due to high demand on long weekends.
For parking, city parking is expensive. If you’re planning to spend the whole day, just use the valet parking in front of the main entrance at Shedd Aquarium. It’s a flat fee of $35 for the whole day and a real time-saver.
We had tickets for the 12:00 PM slot and left Michigan around 6:30 AM, arriving around 10:30 AM. They let us in early without asking us to wait for our slot.
